Two tests on Friday - English & Civics. And I don’t think either of them will count. Imagine giving a test on Friday when we graduate on Monday. In physics today Mr. Sarrano showed us some very interesting things about electricity. After outlining furiously all day yesterday he didn’t call for the notebook. I’m glad I’ve done it tho’. After lunch I called Hope up and asked her if she wanted to go swimming and she said OK. All the family was out to dinner so Mom told me to have a big tea at the Polo Club. I read until four and at four thirty Hope came for me. We swam until about six fifteen and then had tea. While we were eating I got a note from Allen asking me to go to the movies. We got home from the Polo Club at seven thirty. I wrote a letter to Anna and at eight thirty Allen came for me. He had a Chev. Coupe on approval. Home at eleven.

Jane's Notes: I don't know what color this Chrevy Coupe might have been but here's one fully restored I found on the Internet. Pretty snazzy car.
