I got up late this morning. After breakfast I washed my hair. I was to have gone swimming with Alex but I couldn’t so at lunch time he called up and I told him I couldn’t go. After lunch I slept and at five I went with Mom to the tailors and hat store. At seven I started to get ready to go to dinner with Alex. Mom and Pop went out to dinner too. Alex came for me at eight. We had dinner out at the lareu. It was so cool and such a night. We went into the club to dance between courses. It was about ten fifteen when we left there and went to the Hotel. It was quite crowded. Much more so than I expected to find it on this weekend because of Holy week. Just as we walked in Helen and Jim dance by and asked us to join them. Alice, Lucy, and Helen Reid had gone out so they decided to, too. They stayed until about two and we left about two forty five, just before they closed up the Hotel. I had a good time even if I was bothered to death with my hair.
