July 30, 1933 - Sunday

Peggy Slauson is coming up from Sacramento to be a bride’s maid at Janet’s wedding. She is going to maker her dress herself too.

June has been having a good time in Portland and I am so glad. She has met several people on her own. She’s been to Janzen Beach several times.

July 29, 1933 - Saturday

Went to a shower for Janet tonight. It was one that Margo gave. Doro and I went together again. We were flattered being only older girls invited.

July 25, 1933 - Tuesday

This evening I went to a shower for Wilma that her aunt gave. Doro came after me. We gave gifts alike that go together. Bridge. Kind of a dumb time.

July 22, 1933 - Saturday

I have decided to make my own dress for Janet’s wedding. It will be less expensive and I think I can do it with some help from the dressmaker.

July 17, 1933 - Monday

Janet asked me to be her bridesmaid today. I am so pleased. There are to be six of us. I am to wear yellow. She told me all the plans and it sounds grand.

July 15, 1933 - Saturday

I went to a tea this afternoon that Aladine gave. It was to announce the marriages of Janet and Typee, the 8^th and 12^th of next month. The Alpha Phis are certainly getting married.
