October 31, 1932 - Monday

This afternoon I got a lot of things done. I washed my hair and mended and washed my sweater. After tea we had a Halloween party. Phi Psi broke in and took out the fuses. Swell party and consternation.  I am at last beginning to get the senior attitude. The-glad-to-get-there, sorry-to-leave feeling. Doro and I are both beginning to really realize that this is our last year in school!!

October 30, 1932 - Sunday

This afternoon I made up for the studying I didn’t do this weekend. Before dinner George took me for a ride. I stayed up at the library until eight thirty then George came after me.

October 29, 1932 - Saturday

This morning after my eight o’clock I went to the library for an hour. Then Doro and I went downtown. This afternoon we went to a swell football game. Mr. Hibbard, George and I went to a show. Home at 10:30. Doings at the Chi Psi Lodge for dads.

October 28, 1932 - Friday

After my one o’clock I went up to the library and stayed until five o’clock. I took my quiz in American Foreign Relations this morning, in a big way. Open house tonight. I’m not as tired as I expected. George is dead!!

October 27, 1932 - Thursday

After my eight o’clock I went to the library and stayed the rest of the morning. After lunch spent the afternoon at the library. George came over about nine and stayed until ten. I was so glad to see him.

October 26, 1932 - Wednesday

Doro and I went to the library after our one o’clock and studied until about four thirty. House went out to dinner so us “stay at homes” had a swell time. Doro and I went to see “White Zombie”. Disappointing.
