After church, I mean S.S., I went to church for the first time in ages. Oscar was there with Hope and I sat with them. We hurried home, had lunch in about twenty minutes and went to the movies. After the movies I took Pop and Mom to a funeral at the Masonic Temple. They took the car home. Sleepy said that someone had called me up while we were gone. I laid down for about an hour and about four fifteen Allen called up and asked if I cared to go to the show with him. I told him I had just been and he then suggested the Polo Club Tea Dance and I said OK. I hurried down to the Temple to pick up Mom and Pop because they said to be sure and be there at four thirty. They didn’t get out until five. We came home and I changed and about 5:45 Allen came for me. We had tea sandwiches and cake and danced until eight. Lots of people out there.
