Mrs. Maloney was going to give us a test in Alg. but she was late and so it was postponed. We got out of Spanish ten minutes early today. Helen’s car wasn’t there so we had to walk for the first time in ages. We got our invitations today and we’ll get our class day pictures soon, too. Perhaps on Monday. After lunch I wrote out twenty two invitations and then went swimming with June, Frances and Jane. We stayed in until about five but we got so cold we had to get out. On the way home I left the three kids at Samons, came home, got my Elks Club library book and returned it and took out another. The family didn’t come home until ten to eight and even then had to eat alone because they had all eaten.
