Hope was still asleep when I left this morning and she was gone when I got back from school so I didn’t get to speak to her before she left. Everybody in our class was talking excitedly about our Physics final and they were getting nervous and cold fingers, etc. I wasn’t excited and I found I got on much better. I’m sure I made a much better mark than I would have if I’d been in Helen’s condition. There were 144 true false questions and sixty minutes to do it in. I think I did fairly well. I hope so because I need it. After dinner I went to sleep and about 3:30 got ready to go to Mrs. Burger’s tea. She asked me to assist in the serving. Mrs. Best was to take me out. I went over to her house and on the way stopped in at the China Drawn Work and bought one of those new straw purses. At the tea I saw many lady friends. I didn’t do much. I didn’t eat much dinner after having tea. I think I’m catching cold, I feel it coming on.
