Test in Alg. tomorrow! Nice thing to look forward to. We were told we were all supposed to be at school eight o’clock Saturday for a class play rehearsal. They aren’t satisfied with giving us five days a week of school. Before Physics we went to the Library to look for some books for the blind for Helen’s reference in Civics. We asked them if they had any reading for the blind. They looked at us as if we were crazy and finally they showed us the book that they had. We had a hard experiment. After lunch I finished the last book of “The Year Between”. They certainly were thrilling books. So much so in fact that I have been neglecting some of my duties. At four I went swimming. Nobody was out there that I knew, as usual. I used to always see somebody I knew in the course of the afternoon. After swimming I came back to the “Cosmos Club” for Pop & Mom and after waiting about three quarters of an hour I found out they weren’t ready to come and came home. June and I had dinner all alone because Mom & Pop had eaten there.
