A terrible Alg. test. Her usual kind. Civics was the usual club period. Our Eng. period was short and we didn’t have any spanish because they had the Sophomore program the fourth period. It was a very good program. Better then the Freshie program. The first part of the period he gave us our grades for the test. I never in my life got such a low grade in a test. Everybody else got low grades, too. He gave us a long talk on how he thought so many were flunking. I’m scared to death because if I flunk I don’t know whether I can graduate! I’ve got to buckle. June and I had lunch by our lonesome because Mom went to a Chinese luncheon and Pop to a business luncheon out at the factory. After lunch I fooled away the time when I suddenly realized it was three o’clock and I was supposed to be at the school at two for practice. I rushed over but was too late. At quarter to five we all went to the Carnival. The best thing we did or saw was the Dixie Minstrels. We got home at about 7:30. I wrote to Anna Louise today.

Jane’s Notes: I think Mom is getting “senioritis”.
