Mary Ruth Stagg brought her little brother to Sunday School today and that ruined all order in my class. I couldn’t keep them quiet. After Sunday School I met Hope and she said that I was invited out to the MacLish for dinner by Dave. I told her I didn’t think I could go because I was going to the Morton’s. After church Mom said Hope had fixed it so that I could get in by nine at least and the Morton’s party was at eight thirty. Alex called up to say he was coming after me and I was alright with him if we were late. After Lunch June and I went down to see “Rose Marie”. we got home a little after three. I was going with Helen MIller to see a rugby game but as we were going out to the ship at five I didn’t go but Mom and June went instead and they liked it too. Hope came for me about ten to five and we went to the Army Navy Club where we got the “220” dory. Soon after we got out there we took some pictures and about quarter to seven we had dinner. One of Dave’s friends, Oscar, and a officer off another ship had dinner with us. I got home about ten to nine and met Alex at the gate. The Morton’s party was very informal and I had heaps of fun. Home about 12:30.
