Nancy, a little girl in my SS class came back from the States recently and was at SS for the first time today so it was pretty hard to keep order. I came home right afterwards and read a magazine until lunch. After lunch June and Mom and I were going to the movie but we found the one we wanted to see didn’t start until five. I read some more and at about four fifteen started very leisurely dressing for the tea dance. Alex and Allen came for me at fifteen after five as they said they would which I didn’t expect would happen. We went after Hope and from there out to the Polo Club. There were heaps of people there. Minimum about thirty odd. I didn’t meet anybody except those at our end of the table. Alex and Allen are a pair. I was in one continuous giggle from the time they came after me until they brought me home. I had a much better time then I anticipated. We got home about eight thirty.
