We certainly liked the play. the parts were well cast. I didn’t think it was among the best they have put on however. We had a test in Civics this morning and I think I did pretty well in it but that remains to be seen. Another test in Physics today. I went down. June’s party was today. After lunch she asked me to help her with the decorations but I did most of the work. It was a Valentine Party so the house was decorated with hearts. They had balloons and serpentines. Supper was served on the lawn which was lighted with japanese lanterns. People began arriving at five. June was dressed and I was hurrying around doing last minute things. At first there were quite a few uncomfortable pauses but when they finally got started it was a boisterous gathering. I think they had a good time. They certainly took possession of the house but thats the only way to entertain your guests. Helen came over for awhile to look on with me. It was about eleven before they all went home.
