This morning as our stove was gone we had to go out for breakfast. We went to the La Japan Garden. We each had a platter full of cold scrambled eggs and hard ham. The only thing decent was the toast. It certainly is a tough joint. We went home and wandered around until lunch. Mrs. Hall sent us over a meat pie. After lunch until about five we rested as best we could in the remaining furniture. At five we moved over to the Lunneta Hotel. After dinner we went to see the English Musical Comedy Company that opened tonight at the Opera House. They were quite good for Manila. There were a few quite pretty girls and one very handsome song and dance man. After the show I saw Charlie Morton and he came over and said good-bye to me. We got home about twelve thirty.

Jane's Notes: I love the suspense of this. It's like you can hardly wait to get on the trip yourself.
