Helen called up yesterday and suggested golf so she came for me at about nine fifteen this morning. On the way to the links we stopped while I had my dresses tried on. My golf score dropped twenty points today, I got 72. After lunch I read, rested and washed cloths. About four I went shopping again. At five we went after Pop. After we left Pop at the Club I went swimming. There wasn’t anybody out there that I knew but I enjoyed the exercise. We got home soon after seven, then dressed for dinner. Eleanor’s getting used to our leaving for dinner. We got there just at seven thirty. Fred welcomed us and who should be there but Dick. I was pleasantly surprised. Myra Belle got the dinner tonight. It was a lovely dinner and some of the best desert. Except for the fact that much of my childhood history was related by my fond parents, I spent a very enjoyable evening. Myra Belle played us some very beautiful music. Home about 11:30.
