After breakfast we fooled around the hotel until about ten. Then we took most of the things down to the boat. We unpacked our things in the cabin so the empty trunks could be put down the hold. From there we went downtown. Pop had to go to the office and Mom to the doctors so I had to do the last minute shopping for the family and there was quite a bit. We didn’t get home until twelve thirty. After we had rested after lunch Mom and I went to the China Drawn Work and got a few things and then we went for a last look at the house. When we got home there were some people waiting to see us. Before dinner I called up a few people. After dinner Mr. Kane came to see us. About nine Phil Sanders came to say good-bye. And so to bed at ten thirty.
