I can’t see that there was anything of particular interest happened
today. After my one o’clock I stayed up there and studied. This evening I held
study table and got along beautifully. I think my presence is working.

That is the extent of it mother, and I hope that I haven’t
sent it to you too late.
All the kids are going to school on roller skates now as a
protest against the automobile ban. I don’t think that will get them any place,
but they are at least having fun.
Right now I have more work than I can attend to, I just
don’t seem to have time to relax a bit; so that explains somewhat my not very
interesting letters.
My finances are alright for the present, but they will not
be in that condition very long; I shall write you when I am out.
