Well we finally got here at 3 in the morning. Luckily some
kids were up so I didn’t have any trouble getting in the house. It’s fun to be
back. Couldn’t appear at lunch, no clothes, but shopped this afternoon. Rush
dinner tonight tho’.

George dearest,
Gee but its fun to be back. It is so much fun to see
everybody. Doro and I have so much to talk about. We have been talking
furiously ever since we got together this morning. Freddie was on the train
with me so we managed to make the time go faster. At Grants Pass he got off and
got us a couple of magazines and at Roseburg we got off and had a bite to eat.
When we finally got to Eugene we were both so excited we woke up the whole car.
Freddie was just like a little boy on the train. Every few minutes he had to
press his nose against the pane and look out.
Caroline Rose is back but not Naomi which is something to be
thankful for. According to Doro she seems to be behaving herself. I have only
seen her once and then just for a minute.
Bob Trimble is down here, now. I guess for rush week, I
don’t know. I don’t think he is doing anything.
And George Rishmuller is back, too, running a dry cleaning
establishment. I am going to send my clothes there.
O, it’s so exciting to be back. Hurry up and come, dear. I
need to have you around.
Love, Annie
