Darling,
Yesterday, I didn’t get a chance to mail the letter that I
wrote to you Saturday night but we are going over to San Diego this afternoon
so I will mail it and this.
We had a lovely time yesterday at least I did. It was noon
before we had had breakfast and started out. We went for a ride. We went to La
Jolla. It is a town near here. We went up to a tower that overlooks the country
for miles around. Then we went to a darling stables and looked at the horses.
It was a darling stables because it didn’t look like one and everything was so
clean. We left there and stopped at a
beach on the way home and had a hamburger.
We came back about five thirty and went out on the Dobbin at
six and had dinner with Steve. Tonight Jack is inviting the four of us to his
ship to dinner.
Alice is almost ready to leave sweetheart.
