The big game is over and I am now a University graduate. The
ceremony lasted two hours. The address yesterday was much better. This
afternoon Mom and I packed again but did hers tonight.

Here is just a tiny remembrance on the day of your
graduation from college, Sweetheart. My feelings are anything but generous; I
can only look ahead to three very lonely years.
My loving congratulations go to you, though, dear. I love
you dearly and pray your commencement is a happy one.
