It’s getting pretty tiresome carrying all our heavy books all the way to Normal School. Mr. Newton took the kids to see Jackie Cooper. I had nothing to do so I trailed along. William Haines is coming in “Slide Kelly, Slide” Rah! Rah!
Jane’s Notes: Most of Mom’s classes were at Central High School but she walked to Normal School for her last class which was Physics, or was it the other way around? Slide, Kelly, Slide is a 1927 comedy film, released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, directed by Edward Sedgwick, and starring William Haines and Harry Carey.
