The sewing girl came today and is making my new Indian head dress. I think it will be quite becoming and gay when it is finished. Went to the Prom this afternoon. Pretty dull with so many kids gone. June had a wonderful time. She got a new bou, Johnny Watkins. He’s precious. He’s a great friend of Steve and Jack’s. He told me that Alice was engaged to Steve. That’s the second time I’ve heard that. I wonder if it’s true.
