October 14, 1933 - Saturday

Hello Mother,

It would seem from your letters that you and Prater have been doing a bit of traveling lately. How did Tacoma look after all those years? You must not consider me when you think of moving to Tacoma. You have yourselves to think of, and I am on my own now. It is time I did it anyhow.

There are only six of us left, here, this week-end. All the other boys have gone to Seattle for the game; and as you know, we beat them six to nothing.

Your son is certainly a model boy these days. All he does is study. I have been studying all day, and I am going to do that little thing this evening too. This law school is certainly discouraging. All I do is study, and when I go to class I act like a perfect dub. Most everyone else does too, but that doesn’t make me feel any better. I hope I come through alright.

I did not send my laundry this week, because the clean clothes didn’t arrive until too late. I’m not taking baths any more, so there won’t be much. I don’t have time.

I hope things turn out fine for you; they certainly should with Pinky at the help.

Love, George
