December 6, 1933 - Wednesday

George darling!

It is only ten days until we start! I have been acting perfectly crazy al day and the people around here don’t know what’s the matter with me! Aren’t they dumb? You know what’s making me so happy, don’t you dear? O it seems like a dream to think that we will actually be together again. Last night I had the longest dream about you. I see you in my dreams almost every night. Now as one psychologist to another that should prove to you that you are the last thing I think about before dropping off to sleep.

Well, I roasted another turkey and stuffed it. I think it is the best one I have done because it was done just right and it was a young turkey. We never have to worry about our eggs being fresh.  We are beginning to get a profit off this place. I don’t mean a profit I mean an income. Grover brought in four dozen eggs this evening and you should see the size of them, why they would put a couple of golf balls to shame. Pop takes dozens and dozens of eggs into the grocery in town every so often and people are coming up here all the time to buy chickens. We have several steady customers all ready. O, I tell you us farmers are doing business.

Monday exam week starts. I wish you all the success in the world but don’t wear yourself out. I love you and good night, dear.

Ann.
