In regards to your letter of the thirteenth, I remain
sincerely yours; but begging to speak of more important matters; I now lay the
cold turkey before thine frowning eyes.

Accounts payable: Curtis Barnes 1.50
All of which means a net loss of $1.50, with class fees
coming up at the end of the month. I don’t have to pay “Varsity” back until the
end of the month --- so that is okay; but I would like to have twenty cents to
send my washing home.
